We grow Q. robur (English Oak), Q. petraea (Sessile Oak), Q. cerris (Turkey Oak), Q. coccinea (Scarlet Oak), Q. frainetto (Hungarian Oak), Q. ilex (Holm Oak), Q. palustris (Pin Oak) and Q. rubra (Red Oak). Please note: due to DEFRA restrictions, we can only sell oaks up to 8-10cm trunk girth.
F. sylvatica (Common Beech) available as hedging transplants, feathered trees and large rootballed specimens. We also stock F. sylvatica 'Atropurpurea' (Copper Beech), 'Black Swan', 'Dawyck', 'Dawyck Gold' and 'Dawyck Purple' for formal and specimen planting.
C. betulus available from small transplants for hedging to larger feathered trees and rootballed specimens. Cultivars include 'Columnaris', 'Fastigiata', 'Frans Fontaine' and 'Rockhampton Red'.
B. pendula (Silver Birch) and B. pubescens (Downy Birch) — elegant pioneer species available from whips and transplants to large bareroot and rootballed specimens. Both support a wide range of wildlife and establish quickly on most soils.
A. cordata (Italian Alder), A. glutinosa (Common Alder), A. incana (Grey Alder) and A. rubra (Red Alder). Nitrogen-fixing trees ideal for wet sites and pioneering woodland establishment. Available from transplants to larger rootballed specimens.

Our conifer collection includes Abies nordmanniana, Cedrus atlantica 'Glauca' and C. deodara, Cupressocyparis leylandii (including 'Excalibur Gold'), Ginkgo biloba, Juniperus communis ('Hibernica'), Larix decidua (European Larch), Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Picea abies, Pinus (varieties including P. nigra, P. pinaster, P. pinea, P. sylvestris), Pseudotsuga menziesii (Douglas Fir), Sequoia sempervirens, Sequoiadendron giganteum, Taxodium distichum, Taxus baccata (Yew), Thuja plicata and Tsuga heterophylla.
