We have a good range of hedging in different sizes, whether you want an evergreen hedge or a more natural-looking, wildlife-friendly boundary. All our hedging plants are trimmed on the nursery so they arrive nice and bushy, ready to establish quickly.

Most hedging is available at sizes from 30cm up to 240cm. We also sell a 10-metre Native Hedge Mix and a New Forest Hedge Mix (with Holly substituted for one of the items), ideal for creating a natural boundary with minimal effort.

Pleached Trees

We train a range of trees as pleached specimens, creating elegant raised screens and formal boundaries. Our pleached trees are grown on 1.2m, 1.5m and 1.8m stems, normally with five tiers spaced 30cm apart and a spread of 180cm.

Species available as pleached include Crataegus, Hornbeam, Ilex, Malus and Laurel. We also produce low panels (150cm × 180cm) in Hornbeam and Laurel for use as instant screening at lower height.
