Grow Your Own

We grow a wide range of fruit tree varieties, all budded onto carefully selected rootstocks producing trees that will grow to approximately 4 metres (12ft). Whether you're planting a productive orchard or adding a single fruit tree to your garden, our range has something for every space. Espalier-trained forms are also available for select varieties.

Apples — 28 varieties (on MM106 rootstock)

A comprehensive selection of eating and cooking varieties. Our range includes 'Adams Pearmain', 'American Mother', 'Ashmead's Kernel', 'Beauty of Bath', 'Blenheim Orange', 'Braeburn', 'Bramley's Seedling' (including 'Bramley 20'), 'Cox's Orange Pippin', 'Discovery', 'Early Windsor', 'Egremont Russet', 'Ellison's Orange', 'Elstar', 'Gala', 'Grenadier', 'Howgate Wonder', 'James Grieve', 'King of Pippins', 'Kidd's Orange Red', 'Lane's Prince Albert', 'Laxton's Superb', 'Red Devil', 'Spartan', 'Tydeman's Early Worcester', 'Winter Gem' and 'Worcester Pearmain'. Available as bareroot standards, half-standards, and some as container-grown or espalier-trained forms.

Pears — 10 varieties (on Quince A rootstock)

Reliable croppers including 'Barney', 'Beth', 'Beurre Hardy', 'Concorde' (self-fertile), 'Conference' (self-fertile), 'Fertility', 'Laxton's Satisfaction', 'Louise Bonne of Jersey', 'Packham's Triumph' and 'Williams Bon Chrétien'.

Plums, Damsons & Gages — 13 varieties (on St Julian A rootstock)

Including 'Avalon', 'Belle de Louvain', 'Coe's Golden Drop', 'Czar', Damson 'Merryweather', Damson 'Shropshire Prune', 'Greengage', 'Hauswzetsche', 'Marjorie's Seedling', 'Opal', 'Oullins Golden Gage', 'Thames Cross' and 'Victoria'. Fan-trained forms available for select varieties.

Cherries — 6 varieties (on Colt rootstock)

Sweet and sour cherries including 'Lapins', 'Morello', 'Stella', 'Summer Sun', 'Sunburst' and 'Sweetheart'.

Nuts

Corylus avellana (Hazel/Cobnut) and Corylus maxima (Filbert) — available as bush or standard forms from bareroot to large rootballed specimens. Juglans regia (Common Walnut) and 'Buccaneer', Juglans nigra (Black Walnut), and Castanea sativa (Sweet Chestnut).

Specialist Fruit

Apricot 'Goldcot' (on Krymsk rootstock), Mespilus germanica (Medlar), Morus alba (White Mulberry) and M. nigra (Black Mulberry), Peach 'Peregrine' (on Krymsk rootstock, available as half-standard and fan-trained), and Quince including 'Champion', 'Leskovac', 'Meech's Prolific' and 'Vranja'.

Pleached Fruit Trees

We also grow a selection of apples as pleached forms on 1.2m stems with 4–5 tiers, including 'Bountiful', 'Bramley's Seedling', 'Red Devil', 'Redsleeves', 'Scrumptious' and 'Spartan'. See our Hedging & Pleached page for the full range.
